I have been a teacher, school principal and central office administrator for more than 35 years. I drove an Ozinga ready-mix truck in the summers from about 1977-94. I know first hand that the Ozinga family is fair, trustworthy and reliable. I believe they are one of the finest examples of a family that tries to walk their talk. They have helped many families, and I would be proud to help them in any way possible.

I’m a mother of four school-aged kids, married 15 years and pretty passionate about politics. My husband has worked for Marty for 17 years at Ozinga. I’m excited to have a trustworthy candidate running in our district. I know Marty’s morals and values line up with what so many people in our district are searching for in their elected officials.

I support Mr. Ozinga – Marty, I heard you on WLS with Don and Roma this morning, and I support you for Congress! You bring a common sense, compassionate business approach that is sorely needed in congress.

We in the community know you are a fine man who has done much for the community, but we also know the Democrats will lie about your record and try to smear you. The local liberal newspapers will join the pile-on and try to smear you. But your honesty and integrity will shine through to the people.

Thanks for serving and running for Congress.

Somebody finally got it right.

I knew Marty’s father, and I served with his uncle Frank Ozinga in the Illinois State Senate. I always admired his family’s integrity and dedication to honest public service. I now live 700 miles away but will do what I can to write to friends in the 11th District to urge them to support Marty. Thank you for making the race and good luck.

My husband and I are both in sales and have known the Ozinga family for many years and attended the same church. I work in radio and my husband is in Medical Sales. We have two sons in the U.S. Army and are passionate about our country. We are here to personally help any way we can. Marty and Ruth are wonderful people with values this country greatly needs.

It thrilled my soul to read in the Southtown about Marty’s candidacy.

I am a local businessman that is very concerned that Debbie Halvorson could become a Congresswoman. I have the highest respect for the Ozinga family. My company is willing to donate equipment to the campaign.

We just contributed $100 to support what we know will be a successful campaign by our friend Marty Ozinga! Good luck, Marty – the 11th District will be lucky to have such an astute and committed leader representing them. We’ve appreciated your leadership within the ready mixed concrete industry and look forward to continue working with you to better the industry and the nation.

I’m a life-long conservative who’s always been interested in politics. I’m not happy with the state of politics in our state. My family has been here since 1837. I’m an advocate of free market capitalism and a limited central government. I worked for Roger Ozinga at the Merc in the 80s. I’d like to lend my support to someone who believes in America and doesn’t support socialism. I’m for a strong defense, support of business, lower taxes, and good education (that stresses fundamentals).

I am 17 years old and am a junior at St. Ignatius College Prep. I was a U.S. House Congressional Page first semester in D.C. and am enthralled in politics. I am a strong conservative Republican and am looking to help the Republicans hold on to the needed seat. I would love to help out as much as I can this summer.

Marty, I wish you the best and will do what I can to help you out. May God’s face shine upon you and your campaign.
