To stimulate job creation and put more money back in the hands of taxpayers, Marty will support legislation to lower income tax rates for all American individuals and businesses, repeal the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), extend the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts, and permanently eliminate the death tax, so that family farmers and small businesspeople can pass their savings and assets down to the next generation without Washington taking a cut.

Marty supports implementing common-sense limits on non-defense discretionary spending, passing a balanced budget constitutional amendment, reforming earmark appropriations, and reducing waste and inefficiency in federal agencies.
