Too many Americans are struggling to keep up with skyrocketing health care costs. As a businessman who provides health care for hundreds of employees, Marty understands the urgent need for meaningful, market-driven health care solutions – not a government-run system that would make a doctor's appointment about as pleasant as a trip to the DMV.
Marty supports expanding health care tax deductions to individuals whose employers do not provide it; small business health plans, which allow similar businesses to pool their resources to bargain for lower premiums; health savings accounts that allow Americans to pay for health care with tax-free savings; and medical malpractice caps to deter junk lawsuits against health providers.
To reduce prescription drug prices for our seniors, Marty believes Congress should allow the federal government to negotiate for lower prescription prices with the drug companies. He also supports allowing the importation of cheaper prescription drugs.
